Article 1: General Refund Terms

1.1 Eligibility: Refunds are available for courses purchased through training.luminospos.com. To be eligible for a refund, you must request it within the specified refund period and meet the conditions outlined in this policy.

1.2 Refund Period: You may request a refund within 14 days of your purchase date. Refund requests made after this period will not be considered.

Article 2: Refund Request Process

2.1 How to Request a Refund: To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@luminospos.com with your purchase details, including your order number and the reason for the refund request.

2.2 Processing Time: Refund requests will be reviewed and processed within 10 business days of receipt. If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Article 3: Non-Refundable Situations

3.1 Course Completion: No refunds will be granted if you have accessed more than 25% of the course content or have completed the course.

3.2 Violation of Terms: If you violate our terms and conditions, including any misuse of the course materials or unethical behavior, your refund request will be denied.

3.3 Technical Issues: Refunds will not be granted for technical issues unless you can demonstrate that the issue was caused by our system and prevented you from accessing the course.

Article 4: Exceptional Circumstances

4.1 Medical or Personal Emergencies: In the event of a medical or personal emergency that prevents you from completing the course, please contact our support team. We may, at our discretion, offer a partial or full refund or a course credit for future use.

Article 5: Course Cancellations by Luminos POS

5.1 Cancellation by Us: If Luminos POS cancels a course, you will be entitled to a full refund. We will notify you of any cancellations and process your refund promptly.

Article 6: Changes to the Refund Policy

6.1 Modifications: Luminos POS reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Article 8: Governing Law

8.1 Jurisdiction: This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising from or related to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

Article 9: Partial Refunds

9.1 Conditions for Partial Refunds: In some cases, partial refunds may be granted if a significant portion of the course content has been accessed but not completed. The amount refunded will be determined at the discretion of Luminos POS based on the percentage of the course completed.

9.2 Calculation: The partial refund amount will be calculated by deducting the accessed portion of the course from the total course fee. For example, if 50% of the course content has been accessed, a refund of 50% of the course fee may be granted.

Article 10: Refund for Duplicate Payments

10.1 Duplicate Payments: If you inadvertently make a duplicate payment for a course, please contact our support team immediately. We will verify the duplicate transaction and issue a full refund for the duplicate payment.

Article 11: Refund for Promotional Offers

11.1 Promotional Offers: Courses purchased at a discount or during a promotional offer are eligible for refunds under the same terms and conditions as full-price courses.

11.2 Adjustment of Refund: The refund amount for courses purchased during a promotional offer will be adjusted to reflect the discounted price.

Article 12: Course Upgrades and Downgrades

12.1 Upgrades: If you upgrade to a more advanced course within the refund period, you may request a refund for the original course. The refund will be processed in accordance with the terms of this policy, and the cost of the upgraded course will be charged.

12.2 Downgrades: If you downgrade to a less advanced course, the difference in course fees will not be refunded unless the downgrade request is made within the refund period.

Article 13: Course Access Suspension

13.1 Suspension Due to Non-Compliance: If your access to the course is suspended due to non-compliance with our terms and conditions, no refund will be granted.

13.2 Reinstatement: If your course access is reinstated after suspension, you may continue with the course, but no additional refund requests will be entertained.

Article 14: Refund for Bundled Courses

14.1 Bundled Courses: If you purchase a bundle of courses, refunds will be considered only for the entire bundle and not for individual courses within the bundle. The refund request must be made within the specified refund period for the bundle.

14.2 Bundle Discount Adjustment: If any course in the bundle has been accessed beyond the refundable limit, the refund amount will be adjusted accordingly, considering the bundle discount applied at the time of purchase.

Article 15: Technical Support and Assistance

15.1 Technical Issues: If you encounter technical issues that prevent you from accessing the course, please contact our support team immediately. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue. If the issue cannot be resolved, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund, depending on the extent of course access.

15.2 Support Response Time: Our support team will respond to technical support requests within 48 hours. Please provide detailed information about the issue to expedite the resolution process.

Article 16: Dispute Resolution

16.1 Internal Resolution: If you have a dispute regarding a refund, please contact our support team first to attempt to resolve the issue internally.

16.2 Arbitration: If the dispute cannot be resolved internally, it will be referred to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Uganda Arbitration and Conciliation Act. The arbitration will take place in Kampala, Uganda.

Article 17: Finality of Refund Decisions

17.1 Non-Appealable Decisions: All refund decisions made by Luminos POS are final and non-appealable. Once a refund decision is communicated, it will not be reconsidered.
